This classic homemade cranberry sauce is PERFECT for your Thanksgiving table! Naturally sweetened with a bit of honey and maple syrup, and easy to make ahead of time!
So good and easy! Love the addition of honey for a hint of sweetness!
12 oz. fresh cranberries
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup water
pinch of salt
1 orange slice
1/2 cinnamon stick
Stir cranberries, maple syrup, honey, water, and salt together in a small saucepan.
Step 1 - PREP
Squeeze the juice from an orange slice into the pot, then add the orange rind and cinnamon stick.
Step 2 - PREP
Cook over medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes until cranberries start to burst.
Step 3 - COOK
STEP 4 - SERVE
Top with orange zest and serve immediately, or let cool and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week (or freeze for a few months!)
