The first Ithaca Sustainable Seafood Week is in the books! Huzzah!
We had SUCH an amazing week full of friends, films, speakers, sustainable food luvaaaaahs, planning sessions, and (DUH) incredible, delicious, sustainable seafood. Only downside: with all the fun times happening, I barely managed to snap any photos.
BUT!
I obbbbbbviously busted out my camera for our flagship event at Firelight Camps last Wednesday. My food biz besties Emma Frisch and Nicole Gaffney were our chefs for the evening, and they pulled together a bomb diggity (BOMB. DIGGITY., YOU GUYS) firelight feast of Wild Alaskan Salmon, campfire-d kale, smoked salmon spread, veggies, crostini, squash and barley cous cous, HOMEMADE S'MORES, and more.
(You guyyyyyyyys. Sometimes I really, REALLY REALLY REALLY love my job).
ALSO PS: a huge thanks to the incredible partners who helped make this week of events possible! These people and organizations make my heart grow three sizes every time I get to work with them.
