Instead of plastic produce bags:
Reusable mesh produce bags // Those plastic bags we put veggies in at the grocery store usually end up in landfills, and there's no reason they have to! Use these sturdy reusable mesh produce bags at the store. They're lightweight, machine washable, and BPA free with a lifetime warranty.
Instead of disposable grocery bags:
Reusable shopping bags // You likely already have a bunch of them lying around - companies LOVE to give these out as promotional swag! If you need a few bags, though, these are a great option from Amazon. We keep a handful of them in our car for unexpected grocery runs, and as soon as we unpack the bags we set them right by our front door so we remember to take them back to the car when we leave again.
Instead of Ziploc bags:
Stasher Reusable Plastic Bags // Ohhhhh, man. These are a GAMECHANGER. They're a great replacement for disposable plastic bags - they have a tight seal AND are dishwasher safe.
Instead of plastic wrap:
Bee's Wrap Sustainable Food Wraps // Another favorite product in our kitchen, this reusable beeswax-based wrap takes the place of plastic wrap that would otherwise head to the landfill. The beeswax in the wrap makes it adhere to itself just like plastic wrap, and they last up to a year with some basic care.
Instead of tinfoil or disposable pan liners:
Nonstick Silicone Baking Mat // These mats are AMAZING. Nothing sticks to them, and they fit perfectly into your regular baking pans. Easy to clean and oven-, freezer-, and microwave safe.
