FEAST II

I'm back today with the last photos from FEAST Portland 2016! Wheeeeee!

And, hey, ten seconds of REAL TALK: FEAST has quickly become one of my favorite annual events. Not just because of the food (which, okay, OMG THE FOOD), but because of their commitment to ending hunger in Oregon communities. To date, FEAST has raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars for hunger relief efforts - and they're just getting started. (This year's fundraising benefits Partners for a Hunger Free Oregon).

Now, I love eating delicious food, and working with amazing chefs, and taking ALL THE PICTURES, but even more than that? I love working with people who use food to make the world a little bit better.

I think that's why the FEAST team is my favorite - YES, there's incredible food and YES, I love getting to come back to Oregon and YES, it's a ton of fun. But this festival is also just full of genuinely NICE, PASSIONATE PEOPLE - and their mission to use a weekend of indulgence to raise money for hunger relief just gives me ALL.THE.FEELS. ❤️❤️❤️
